#1. The locked phones refer to phones that are purchased with some sort of susbcription to a certain provider. U can't use that phone with another provider unless you go to a specialist to "unlock" it....

The Cricket Network and Cricket phones are CDMA technology, the Razr phones that you see listed as “unlocked” are GSM phones and work with GSM technology. GSM phones will not work with Cricket service....
